ABOUT US

Tapestry Hospice is a family-owned and operated hospice company located in Calhoun, GA. It was started in 2010 by Dr. David Lovell, a local physician with extensive experience in assisted-living and care for the elderly.

Over time, Dr Lovell saw many residents with life-limiting illnesses choose hospice services. Realizing how important it was for a patient to remain close to their family and friends, Dr Lovell created Tapestry Hospice to support patients as they remain in their home at the end of life.

Needing a team of healthcare professionals with a true hospice calling, Dr Lovell assembled an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, nursing aides, social workers and chaplains.

With the goal of promoting patient and family quality of life, the team provides medical, social and spiritual services, including pain and symptom management, to the patient in their home.
