VOLUNTEERING
Volunteer Opportunities vary greatly, from patient and family support to fundraising and administrative work. Participants may range from teenagers to senior citizens. Tapestry Hospice volunteers may have professional skills or specialized expertise, but most who volunteer just want to help their friends and neighbors, and serve their community.
STUDENTS
College students majoring in fields such as social work, gerontology or healthcare may be eligible to earn required volunteer hours for their degree by joining the Tapestry Hospice team. The program is very flexible allowing the intern to determine the hours they are available. Serving with Tapestry Hospice can be a very rewarding educational opportunity.
TRAINING
Volunteer training requirements vary based upon your chosen role. If you choose to support patients and their families, you will find it helpful to take our Tapestry Hospice Orientation training.
